Yoga & Nature Retreat
in the Red River Gorge

A gentle return to body, breath, and soul

This fall, I’m inviting you to step away from the noise, heaviness, and chaos of the world and into a magical weekend where you can slow down, breathe, and find your inner peace again.

Join me October 30-November 1, 2026 for a Yoga and Nature Retreat in the Red River Gorge, where we’ll spend a magical weekend surrounded by forest, fresh air, nourishing food, gentle movement, and practices that help you quiet the noise, listen more deeply, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.

Why Say Yes to This Retreat

So many of us spend our days carrying the weight of the world, taking care of everyone else, and pushing through exhaustion even when our bodies and hearts are asking for rest. We forget to pause and reset. Over time, that leaves us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and far from our peaceful center.

This retreat is your invitation to pause.

To breathe.
To soften.
To remember that you came here to experience peace, connection, and joy.

Picture Your Weekend in the Gorge

Imagine waking up in a cozy glamping tent with the fire burning, surrounded by singing birds and trees. Open the tent flap to fresh mountain air and begin your day with gentle movement and quiet reflection, sipping warm coffee or tea.

Imagine taking a slow walk through the woods, feeling the earth beneath your feet, and allowing yourself to simply be present in nature. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll create space for yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, chakra balancing, energy healing, sacred fire ceremony, and time in nature so you can reconnect with your body, your breath, and your soul.

This is not a retreat that asks you to perform.

It is a retreat that invites you to receive.

The Venue

Our home for the weekend is Dappled Light Adventures in Red River Gorge, Kentucky, a magical forest retreat center set on 50 acres of wooded paradise. We’ll have the private retreat space all to ourselves, including furnished glamping tents, private porches, trails, and the beautiful Rookery event space surrounded by forest and cliffs.

It is peaceful, grounding, and deeply restorative - the kind of place that naturally helps your nervous system settle and your heart open.

What’s Included

Your retreat includes everything you need for a nourishing and unforgettable weekend:

  • Two nights in a cozy, fully furnished glamping tent with real beds and a private porch.

  • Simple, nourishing breakfasts, one catered lunch, and two catered dinners.

  • Guided nature walks, earthing, and time on onsite trails.

  • Yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, chakra balancing, energy healing, and sacred fire ceremonies.

Hi, I’m Shonna!

I’m a life and well-being coach that specializes in emotional resilience, energy healing, and mind-body connection. With over 25 years in the health and wellness field, I’ve helped thousands of clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and tap into their inner resources for healing and growth.

My work is rooted in helping women let go of the past, return to a place of calm, and listen to their inner wisdom. I weave together coaching, Silent Counselling, hypnotherapy, breathwork, emotion regulation tools, and somatic practices to support deep transformation.

As a 20-year yoga teacher, I’m passionate about creating spaces where women can move and breathe in ways that feel good to their bodies, listen within, and bring a sense of calm into the present moment.

This retreat is a beautiful extension of that work — a chance to hold space for you in nature, alongside a supportive community, as you slow down and come back to yourself.

I’d love to welcome you here.
