Mondays 3:30-4:30pm - This class will be designed with the teen athlete in mind with the goals of increasing core strength, flexibility and balance. We will also use breath, meditation, sports-related visualizations and positive self-talk to decrease stress, increase concentration, and ready the mind for the intensity of sports. This type of work also applies to dealing with the general stresses of life (relationships, peer pressure, exams, etc). Can a non-athlete benefit from this series of classes? You bet! Classes will meet 3:30-4:30pm on Mondays in June and July (no class July 16 due to Kid's Summer Yoga Camp). There will be a total of seven classes (June 11, 18, 25 and July 2, 9, 23, 30). The cost is $45 for the entire program or $10/class as a drop-in.
